Contributor's comments: Originally heard this word from a mate in Coffs Harbour who came from Woolongong used to describe a scary mythical creature like a bunyip. Also Platyburrakookapus, but I think this came from a poem.
Contributor's comments: a cross between a roo, a wallaby and a fox - very useful when confusing tourists: "...and then the kangawallafox tore through the tent..."
